I am planning to go to northern New England with my friend Aimee
Dutkiewicz and we would like to canoe/kayak. But we are not that
experienced so we want a river/stream that is class II at the max.

Lots of stuff in Maine and New Hampshire. You might post your question
with more details on npmb.com.

How long do you want to be out for....one day? Several days? Do you
have boats? Are you looking for an outfitter who can lead you down
river and teach you how to paddle, or do you just want to play on your
own? Tell us as much as you can, and some folks here can help. Also,
"Northern New England" is a lot of turf...be more specific.

I can show you some excellent but easy paddling in the north Maine
woods. How far are you planning to paddle (geography permitting) how
much time will you have and which season? Email me for suggestions.
